Are you experienced in accounts payable and ready for a new challenge? We are a dynamic and forward-thinking Real Estate Company committed to maintaining the highest standards. We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our team in an Accounts Payable Administrator position.
Role Overview:
As a member of the accounts team, you will be responsible for accounts payable tasks and financial administration tasks. You will conduct simple AML verifications to ensure compliance with New Zealand's AML regulations and you will be trained to support when required with Trust Admin, contract disbursement, and support website operations. Working from various branch locations from time to time may also be required.
Responsibilities:
- Coding, processing, and reconciling of accounts.
- Prepare creditor batches for payment
- Verify and resolve any bill discrepancies
- Reconcile monthly statements and vendor advertising GL accounts
- Conducting AML verification processes on new and existing customers
- Assist with stats data collection
- Manage our accounts email inbox
Requirements:
- Prior experience in accounts payable essential.
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Xero
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong ability to prioritise tasks, work independently and manage time effectively
- Prior experience with ApprovalMax, Dext, and AML compliance or a related field is an advantage but not essential
