Foundation Donation: Glenview Community Centre

Glenview Community Centre's greatest asset is its building; it brings together diverse sectors of our communities to create a "Hub" for our community. We like to encourage people in our community to participate in what our centre has to offer as well as working collaboratively on issues or participate in projects to create a "vibrant community". As such, we are often a point of contact for community members as well as other agencies. A diverse range of services, programmes and opportunities for either individuals or groups is offered.

There is a strong community spirit in Glenview with focus on family and whanau. Well served with schools, Te Wananga o Aotearoa, shopping centre and close proximity to the hospital.

The centre is also committed to building a sense of family strength and community connectedness by providing a centre that is of a high standard and well maintained; staff and volunteers are trained to deliver quality services and events. Volunteers are made to feel valued and community is confident the centre is well resourced to meet its needs.
