Rex has been involved in real estate for the past 40 years, the last 20 specializing in Commercial and Industrial real estate. Rex specializes in "design and build" projects, and large industrial leases. One of his current projects is the leasing of 14000 sq metres of retail space in Te Rapa, Hamilton on a 3 hectare site he sold to the present developers.
Rex is a fellow of the Real Estate Institute, and is a past National President of that organisation.
